Computational and Data-Enabled Science and Engineering

The Computational and Data-Enabled Science and Engineering (CDS&E) meta-program supports projects that harness computation and data to advance knowledge and accelerate discovery, going beyond the goals of individual NSF programs. It encourages research that develops or enables interactions among theory, computing, experiment, and observation to solve intractable science and engineering problems. Proposals must have a significant computational or data science component and are submitted to participating divisions with specific deadlines.
