Projects must build on prior BBSRC support and include a clear pathway to real-world use through commercialisation, adoption, or progression towards deployment. The full economic cost (FEC) of a project can be up to £800,000, with BBSRC funding 80% of FEC, and projects can last up to 24 months.
Applicants must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for BBSRC funding. Projects must build on prior BBSRC support.
