Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) · GB · UKRI
This scheme funds the expansion of the CoSTAR network by establishing up to two Showcase Labs and up to two Satellite Labs for creative sector R&D infrastructure in the UK. It aims to reduce barriers to technology adoption, improve commercialisation support, and drive scale-up and investment in creative technology businesses. The funding is provided by AHRC and DCMS's Createch Futures programme.
UK research organisations eligible for AHRC funding can apply. The application must be led by a UKRI eligible organisation and include at least one commercial or industry co-location partner and one local or combined authority or equivalent economic development body. Individual leads must be UK residents, employed at an eligible organisation, and have a doctorate or equivalent experience.
