Connecting Culture Fund

The Connecting Culture Fund supports BBSRC strategically funded institutes to enhance research culture through cross-institutional activities, practice-sharing, and knowledge exchange. Projects can be flexible in scope, such as sharing resources, organizing culture days, or commissioning best-practice studies. The fund covers 100% of full economic cost (FEC) up to £100,000, with project durations between 3 and 12 months.

This opportunity is invitation-only for BBSRC strategically funded institutes (e.g., Babraham Institute, Earlham Institute, John Innes Centre, etc.). Other eligible research organisations can participate as project partners or collaborators. The lead organisation must be one of the listed institutes, with university-based institutes (Roslin, IBERS) led by their respective universities.
