The New Zealand Ecohydraulics Trust Travel Award (NZETTA) enables an early career researcher (including post-graduate students) in ecohydraulics from New Zealand to attend the biennial International Ecohydraulics and Fish Passage Symposium (ISE). The award is managed by the Royal Society Te Apārangi on behalf of the New Zealand Ecohydraulics Trust. Applications are currently closed, with the next ISE planned for 2026 in Switzerland.

Applicants must be undertaking postgraduate study at a recognised New Zealand research institution or be currently working within the New Zealand research/science sector and have been employed for no more than five years (in total) in public or private New Zealand research or academic institutions. They must be able to present a high-quality paper in the field of Ecohydraulics and/or Fish Passage science, be a New Zealand resident, submit an abstract to the ISE Symposium website by the specified deadline, and not have received an NZETTA previously.
