JSPS RONPAKU Program

The JSPS RONPAKU (Dissertation PhD) Program provides tutorial and financial support for promising researchers in Asia, Africa, or other specified countries to obtain a Ph.D. degree from a Japanese university by submitting a dissertation without enrolling in a doctoral course. The program is currently not accepting new applications for FY2025 and onwards.
