Core-to-Core Program

The Core-to-Core Program, implemented by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) since FY 2012, aims to create top world-class research centers that partner over the long term with other core research institutions globally. It comprises two components: Advanced Research Networks and Asia-Africa Science Platforms, focusing on advancing research in leading-edge fields, addressing international priorities, and solving problems in Asia and Africa, while fostering young researchers. There will be no open call for FY2027; the FY2026 call was posted on July 1, 2025.
