Research Units

Research Units are collaborative alliances of several outstanding researchers working together on a joint research project, with funding providing personnel and material resources for medium-term cooperation, usually lasting eight years. The programme aims to achieve results beyond individual grants, often establishing new research directions, and offers flexibility in network structure, including opportunities for early-career researchers, cooperation with non-university partners, and integration into overarching research policy initiatives.
