It aims to help these institutions develop their research profile, increase competitiveness, and enhance conditions for knowledge-driven research. Funding is provided for up to 8 years, with a maximum of €1 million per year plus a programme allowance for indirect costs.
Eligible to apply are universities of applied sciences (HAW/FH) in Germany. The programme supports research consortia at these institutions.
