This scheme funds workshops for early career investigators, aimed at established researchers in German research institutes to address the lack of early-career researchers in their field. The workshops prepare early-career researchers to lead their own projects and attract third-party funding. Funding covers travel, accommodation, miscellaneous costs, and up to 10,000 euros in coordination costs.
Established researchers in all research disciplines at German research institutes are eligible to apply. Proposals may be submitted at the request of the pertinent review board or DFG project group, or on their own initiative.
