Fisheries and Oceans Canada Aquatic Science supplement

This supplement provides financial support to high-calibre doctoral students holding an active Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Doctoral (CGRS D) award, whose research falls within areas of relevance to Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). It aims to encourage research in natural sciences and engineering, advance reconciliation and equity, diversity and inclusion in ocean science, and encourage postgraduate studies in ocean science. Up to 10 supplements are offered annually, each valued at $10,000 for one year.

Applicants must hold an active Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Doctoral (CGRS D) award and their research project must fall within one or more research areas of relevance to DFO. Eligible award holders are automatically considered based on their initial application.
