This supplement provides $1,000 to undergraduate students who hold or have held an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) and are studying atmospheric or meteorological sciences at a Canadian institution. It aims to stimulate research in these fields, encourage student research of interest to Environment and Climate Change Canada, and promote training for future graduate studies or employment at the department.
Applicants must hold or have held an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) in the preceding fall or winter terms, and be enrolled in a recognized undergraduate program in atmospheric science or meteorology at a Canadian institution.
