The principal investigator must hold an active NSERC peer-reviewed grant at the time of application and meet NSERC eligibility criteria. They must be a faculty member at an NSERC-eligible university in Alberta. Only one application as PI per fiscal year is allowed, and applicants cannot hold more than one Advance Stream II grant simultaneously.
